Đất Đỏ is the seventh and last location I visited. Đất Đỏ is a rural district located on the southeastern coast of Vietnam, near Saigon. At Đất Đỏ, I visited a water park and a seaside resort.

I spent the final days of the vacation in Saigon, relaxing at the hotel and taking a few strolls around the city. Did you know they also serve fried chicken in Vietnamese McDonald's?

Arriving in Vietnam and Hanoi If you couldn't tell from the title or preview, yes, I actually visited Vietnam, my home country for the first time. It also marked the first time travelling overseas in decades. I have to say it was quite an adventure.
